This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data when you visit our website at oceanoblue.net, and when team members and contracted photographers use our internal platform, Oceano Blue Ops (see section 10).

When you fill out our contact form (powered by HoneyBook), we may collect:

10. Oceano Blue Ops and Google Calendar

Oceano Blue Ops (app.oceanoblue.net) is our internal scheduling platform for our team and contracted photographers. Team members can choose to connect their Google Calendar to it.

What we access

With your permission, Oceano Blue Ops reads the list of calendars on your Google account and the times of your events, including whether each event is marked busy or free. It also reads the title and other details of events on calendars you can fully see, and your Google account email address. It creates, updates, and removes calendar events for shoots you are assigned to. We do not access Gmail or any other Google service.

How we use it

• To show your availability on our internal schedule and avoid booking you during existing commitments
• To place and update calendar holds for shoots assigned to you
• If you use the optional daily briefing, to summarize your day's schedule for you

Sharing

We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. If the daily briefing's AI features are enabled, relevant event titles and times may be sent to our AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) only to generate that summary for you. Google user data is never used to train AI models. Otherwise, we share Google user data only as needed to run the service, for example with our hosting and database providers, or when required by law.

Storage and security

Access tokens are stored encrypted, and only our servers can use them. We may store busy time ranges (start and end times, without event titles or details) to support scheduling. We do not keep copies of your event titles or descriptions, and saved briefing history is deleted after seven days.

Your choices

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your settings in Oceano Blue Ops, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have related data deleted, contact info@oceanoblue.net.

Limited Use

Oceano Blue Ops' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Update" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
